Uncle Doctor as I called him was a gentleman to the core and everyone loves to relate with him. I knew him 30years ago and married his niece Tayo 29 years ago. Dr George and members of his family treated me as one of their sons. He was the god father of my son Victor. He was a humble, kind-hearted, a legend, a mentor, an adviser, a good listener, very hardworking and passionate with his calling, medical practice and served God and mankind. One thing I learnt from him was the ability to listen well and be patient at all times. It was saddened that his illness was related to the work that he loved doing and on the day, he passed on it was like the world came to an end for me. I believe that God created us, and he can take us away anytime he wishes. Uncle Doctor is with the Lord enjoying in His bosom of eternal life. He will always be remembered for his kindness, humility and the impact of his wisdom on my life and other people lives. May his gentle soul rest in peace. Sun re o Uncle Doctor.
