Our paths crossed in 1977 during our Youth Service and that started a friendship, which even when we don't see often, was not dimmed by time. He was a dependable and trustworthy friend, a consummate professional who practiced Medicine with total dedication and commitment, a profession he loved with passion. We last met at Ile-Oluji during the burial of Mama Akintomide and spoke for close to 2 hours catching up on lost time, not knowing it was the last we'll ever meet. Adieu my dear brother and friend.
