I don't know him in person but my sister was one of his patients and I heard lots about his patient-doctor relationship through her. She put to bed at his hospital on March 3rd 2020. My sister chose his hospital which is much farther from her residential area for her antenatal and delivery. Her reason was she did not sync with other doctors at her new hospital the way she did with Dr George and that the distance won't be a barrier for her. My brother-in-law boasted of how he talked to him when CS became their last option, he calmed both wife and husband down, gave them some advice, prayed along with them etc and it was a success. In fact, I was at my sister's place last weekend and we brought up his name, discussed the closure of his hospital because of Covid-19 and we all agreed it's for the best because he is aged and he has an aged mother. What we didn't know was that the hospital was closed because he already contracted the virus. My sis called me few minutes ago to break the news. I came on line to google it and I saw this page. He saved my sister's life and her baby girl "Rayann". My heartfelt condolences goes to the family and grandma. Please takecare of grandma very well...RIP Dr Olusegun George.
