I remember when I was still in medical school , some events led me to be a sit in student doctor with Dr George. This was due to the many ASUU strikes in Nigeria. I would do the round with him and sit in clinic as well. I saw so many cases and he took his time to explain so much . I was called baby doc during this time. He was so kind. What struck me the most was his work ethics, where do I begin? Always available for his patient, never tired. The elderly loved him, because he will take his time with them, sometime the clinic appointments were therapeutic social calls for these elderly people. He listened to them, laughed with them. He knew all their family members. How they all loved him. The medical world has lost a giant. Dr George, to me you were the best in every way. I pray God will give your beautiful wife and your children the fortitude to bear this loss. RIP
